The American Friends of the Château de Rosa Bonheur was established in 2024 and is affiliated with the Myriad Foundation, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Created to support and expand the international outreach of the Château de Rosa Bonheur and the legacy of Rosa Bonheur, the organization works closely with the French association founded in 2018.

Its mission is to preserve, promote, and celebrate the work, personality, and memory of Rosa Bonheur; to support the preservation of the artist’s works and the Château de By; to help enrich the collections through the acquisition of artworks, objects, and historical furniture; and to encourage cultural, scientific, and educational initiatives.



The American Friends of the Château de Rosa Bonheur also supports the Château in the development of its cultural, scientific, and educational programs, helping to strengthen awareness of Rosa Bonheur’s legacy internationally.
