Passionate about the history of Rosa Bonheur and touched by the authenticity of the place, which has never been modified, we are committed to safeguarding the house of Rosa Bonheur and its collections in order to rehabilitate this exceptional place. To carry out the immense work of conservation, restoration, studies and mediation around the castle and the work of Rosa Bonheur, we opened the museum, created the shop, the tea room as well as reception areas but the richness of the funds is such that we have to turn to partners and patrons to carry out this fantastic enterprise of rediscovering an exceptional woman.

By donating to the Château de Rosa Bonheur, you contribute:

• to the restoration and protection of an architectural heritage : facade and roof of the workshop, stained glass window of the grand staircase, paintings, woodwork and tapestries, greenhouse attributed to the Gustave Eiffel workshops, Pavilion of the Muses 18th century...

• to the acquisition and restoration of works by Rosa Bonheur : restoration of unpublished works by Rosa Bonheur discovered in our attics and acquisition of original works and documents in order to enrich the museum's collections

• safeguarding a remarkable plant heritage : trees dating from the planting of the park 450 years ago and an ancient ecosystem of great richness

• to support the scientific work of the castle : develop conservation and archiving spaces, creation of a new exhibition hall, reception of researchers

• to rehabilitate and support the work of illustrious women forgotten by history : organization of cultural and educational actions throughout the year, intended to transmit and share the work of illustrious women: Rosa Bonheur, painter; Anna Klumpke, portrait painter; Augusta Klumpke-Dejerine, neurologist; Dorothea Klumpke-Roberts, astronomer; Julia Klumpke, composer...

Donations made to the Château de Rosa Bonheur allow you to benefit from tax deductions on your tax:

• individuals: 66% of the amount of your donation deducted from your income tax
• companies: 60% of the amount of your donation deducted from your corporation tax
