Bilitis is the name of an ancient poet straight out of the imagination of the writer Pierre Louys. His deliciously passionate poetic work was set to music by Rita Strohl at the end of the 19th century. Inspired by this light and tender eroticism, the composer invents music full of light.

After having shone on the greatest French opera stages, Mariane Croux and her accomplice Anne Le Bozec deliver a sensitive interpretation of these poems.
