In this opera, Jane Vieu imagines a sleeping beauty who wakes up 300 years later and finds herself confronted with the modernity of the world of 1901. Filled with poetry and humor, this little musical gem crosses a multitude of sound universes. ranging from 19th century waltzes to the beginnings of French song... The story is carried by the mezzo-soprano Alix Le Saux, acclaimed for her interpretation of Cinderella at the Glyndebourne festival, and the pianist Benjamin Laurent, a faithful collaborator of the Opera from Paris.
